Chet demonstrates the capability to edit to the beat, a feature in the Smart Edit OS that was new in Smart Edit 5 and up (included as well in Bogart SE OS).  This enables you to determine a cut point in an audio track (primary use is music but also applicable to narration, etc.) and then Smart Edit automatically prepares a special black scene that will automatically trim your inserted video to fit!  Very cool procedure.

Pro Pack: What does this software provide for me?

See the details of the Pro-Pack or Avio-Pro: an add-on software package that provides additional functionality to the Casablanca.  It is included in the latter models of the Casablanca II family but was an option of the AVIO, Gymnos and Claro.  It is also included with the newer Casablanca S-4000 and S-4000 PRO but does require a separate installation and activation code (which again, are included with the S-4000/PRO).
